LUMIN Annual Staff Conference

We are delighted to invite you to the Annual LuMin National Conference in June of 2023. You will see some relevant details below so that you can make your travel arrangements and register for the conference.

The new staff orientation and conference will be at Loyola University – Lake Shore Campus, Chicago, IL.

New staff orientation will begin on Monday, June 12 at 4pm and end on June 14 with the beginning of the regular conference. The LuMin Conference will begin with Holy Eucharist on Wednesday, June 14 at 5pm. The closing banquet is scheduled for Friday evening, June 16. Overnight lodging will be provided on Friday night, and breakfast will be available on Saturday morning. Most people will schedule their departing flights for Saturday, June 17.

You should make your travel arrangements before registering for the conference, so that you can share your travel details with us at the time of registration. The two closest airports to the campus are Chicago/O’Hare (ORD) and Chicago/Midway (MDW). The easiest way to travel from either airport is via the “L” lines.

Registration fees can be paid on the LuMin website under “give today” and under “comments” you should type “conference registration.” Registration fees should be paid at the time of registration.

If registration or travel fees make this conference an unbearable burden to your ministry, please contact Don Romsa (don.romsa@elca.org). There are a limited number of scholarships available for the conference fees and travel assistance.

The registration deadline is April 15, 2023.
