2020 LuMin Staff Conference
June 17-20, 2020
Please join us in Chicago in June for the 2020 LuMin Staff Conference, an opportunity to connect with other campus ministry staff, learn what colleagues are up to, and explore ways in which we can weave together our various identities in a manner that uplifts diversity!
The campus ministry network is, and has been, a community that relies on shared resources and mutual support, and we will honor this connectedness with a focus on reimagining how we can work towards inclusion within our ministries.
Our time together will be anchored with a daylong anti-racism training to begin our journey towards dismantling systemic racism and all other forms of social inequality and oppression. The hope is that we each leave Chicago better equipped to identify and confront these issues in/on our lives, campuses, communities, and culture.
Throughout the course of the conference, you can also expect to find the familiar spaces for worship, fellowship, brainstorming and resource sharing that we all look forward to each year.
Staff in their first three years of ministry are encouraged to join us for New Staff Onboarding, which takes place in the two days before the conference. This onboarding includes foundational information about campus ministry and opportunities to connect with others.
All staff are invited to participate in LuMin Academy on Wednesday, June 17. Sessions offered in the morning and the afternoon will give staff an opportunity to dive deep into topics such as board development, fundraising, student mental health, and other topics.
